Directional Drilling
A trenchless construction technique that installs utilities with precision and minimal surface impact. Ideal for environmentally sensitive areas.
Technology & Techniques
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
A method for installing underground utilities with minimal surface disruption, allowing installations under obstacles like rivers and roads.
Benefits
- Precision and flexibility
- Minimal surface impact
- Cost savings due to speed and reduced need for digging
Process Outline
Digging sending/receiving pits
Drilling pilot hole
Cutting and pulling pipe through
Pipe Ramming
A pneumatic method for driving pipes underground, suitable for hard-to-excavate areas under roads or rivers.
Process Outline

Soil removal
Pipe Cracking (Pipe Bursting)
Trenchless pipe replacement method that breaks existing pipes and replaces them with new pipes along the same path.
Use Cases
- Expanding pipeline capacity
- Replacing damaged pipes
Thrust Boring
Ideal for laying pipes and cables without surface disruption in confined spaces.
Machine Specifications
Thrust boring machines work with pneumatic drilling at 6 bar pressure, making them suitable for various ground conditions.
